Pending Rulings Denied for Vitro S.A.B. de C.V.
Pending rulings for Vitro S.A.B. de C.V. and its subsidiaries were denied this week by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
According to Albert Chico Smith, a spokesman for Vitro: "With this ruling, the involuntary petitions for orders for relief against all Vitro's U.S.-based subsidiaries involved have been denied by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas." However, the ruling also granted the voluntary Chapter 11 process to continue for four affiliates: Vitro Chemical, Fibers and Mining LLC, Vitro Packaging LLC and VVP Auto Glass Inc. These four affiliates make up the Vitro America Group in the U.S.
Orders filed earlier this month for relief have also been denied, including the four aforementioned Vitro affiliates.
If your company is in danger of failing, it is time to contact a
Houston bankruptcy attorney. Although it is never easy admitting that you need to file for
bankruptcy, the process itself doesn't have to be a complete nightmare like it can be without a proper attorney.
